APOITEC has it’s facility in the city of Joinville, the most populated and industrialized city of Santa Catarina, state that keeps the second biggest industrial PIB of the country, and occupies the fifth place on national exportation rank, with 5,52% of the Brazilian total, in 1996.

Responsible for almost 20% of the Santa Catarina exportation, the Joinville industry has been conquering, each year, new markets on other countries. On the internal market Joinville featured participate supplying the fabricated products. Third industrial pole on the south, with values created to the government only inferior to the capitals Porto Alegre (RS) and Curitiba (PR), the city concentrate most of the economical activities on the industry – that generate a industrial billing of US$ 14,8 Billions per year – featured to the sectors metal mechanic, textile, plastic, metallurgical, chemical and pharmaceutical.
